The Study about activity of Mn in Fe-Mn melting
Abstract
In order to achieve mass production of lightweight automotive obtain purpose steel by using lower cost. The research activity for manganese problem "to protect carbon-manganese".Thermodynamics of developing the smelting process and determine the process parameters involved in the necessary,The use of chemical equilibrium method to measure the Fe-Mn system in the activity of manganese, manganese activity coefficient of the first order and second-order activity interaction coefficients.
The results showed that:
(1)At a temperature of 1873K, Fe-Mn melt reaction is:
MnO(s)+CO(g)=[Mn]+CO2(g)
It reaches equilibrium at 14.12 hours later.
