摘要将硅树脂微粉应用于PC/ABS合金的阻燃处理中,研究了硅树脂微粉对PC/ABS合金阻燃性能和力学性能的影响,同时考察了硅树脂与磷酸三苯酯(TPP)复配对PC/ABS的阻燃效果。研究表明,硅树脂使PC/ABS合金的LOI提高,硅树脂含量越高,合金的LOI越大。将TPP与硅树脂微粉进行复配添加到PC/ABS中,合金的LOI有所改善,但提高不明显。硅树脂微粉可使PC/ABS合金的热降解速率降低,800℃残炭率提高,硅树脂微粉促进了PC/ABS在降解过程中残炭的生成。硅树脂微粉使PC/ABS合金在燃烧过程的热、烟、CO、CO2释放速率及质量损失率显著下降,使其火焰增长指数也得到明显降低,有效地提高了合金材料的阻燃性能,降低了火灾的危险性。硅树脂微粉使PC/ABS合金的冲击强度、拉伸强度下降,但对弯曲强度的影响较小,使其加工性能有所改善。44190

Abstract•   The silicone powder was used as flame retardant for PC/ABS alloy. The influence of the silicone powder on the flame retardancy and mechanical properties of PC/ABS alloy was investigated. The effect of the silicone and triphenyl phosphate (TPP) binary flame retardants on the flame retardancy of PC/ABS was also studied. The results showed that the addition of silicone powder increased the LOI of the PC/ABS alloy, and the value increased with the increase of the silicone content. When the silicone and TPP composite flame retardants were added to the PC/ABS, the LOI of the alloy increased a little and not obvious. The silicone powder reduced the thermal degradation rate of the PC/ABS alloy and improved the degradation residue of the PC/ABS at 800℃, and promoted the formation of carbon residue during the thermal degradation process. The presence of the silicone reduced the emission of heat, smoke, CO, CO2 and mass loss rate of the PC/ABS significantly during combustion. The silicone reduced the fire growth index of the PC/ABS. Thus, it effectively improved the flame retardancy of the PC/ABS, and reduces the risk of fire. The silicone powder reduced the impact and tensile strength of PC/ABS alloy, effected less on the bending strength, but improved the processing performance of PC/ABS alloy.
