Effects of the magnetic field on anodic dissolution of copper in sodium sulfate and sulfuric acid solutions
Abstract: In this paper, effects of the magnetic field on anodic dissolution of copper were studied in the neutral and acidic sulfate solutions respectively by using cyclic voltammetry and potentiostatic methods. The results showed that the anodic dissolution rate increased with the increase of the concentration of H+. In acidic sulfate solution, the anodic dissolution rate of copper increased with the increase of the magnetic field intensity; however, the magnetic field affected the anodic dissolution little in the neutral sulfate solution.
