Application of Nickel acetate in catalyzing C-S coupling reaction
Abstract: N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) have been the most heavily studied area of researches among the nucleophilic family till now. Due to poor π-acceptor abilities and the strong σ-donor, NHCs are in good conditions in terms of the chemical stability and the coordination versatility, which allow NHCs to coordinate with various kinds of metals ranging from alkaline-earth metals to rare-earth metals, and thus to change the catalytic properties of transition metal salts to a larger extent.
This thesis introduces the optimal condition of Ni/NHC catalytic C-S cross coupling reaction and the expansion of the substrates. Experimental results show that the choosing system maintians a high efficiency in catalytic C-S cross coupling reaction,which can not only catalyze a majority of the aryl iodide, aryl bromide or corresponding propertion of the actived arly chloride, but also contribute to an efficient rate production.
