Synthesis of 1,2,3-Tri-substituted Indole-4-Ketone Derivatives under Microwave Irradiation
Abstract: A series of 1,2,3-tri-substituted indole-4-ketone derivatives were successfully synthesized by the reaction of 2-hydroxy-2-(2-oxo-2-aryl)-indene-1,3-dione and enaminone catalyzed by p-toluenesulfonic acid in acetic acid under microwave irradiation. This protocol features short reaction time, high yield, good selectivity and eco-friendliness.
