Title The Calculation of Electromagnetic Simulation of Microstrip Sum-Difference Network
Abstract
The sum-difference network ,four port passive microwave components,belongs to
a class of directional couplers has extensive and important applications in
microwave technology. This paper mainly describes the development of microwave
network, learns the development and Its application processes of Ansoft HFSS.
The coupler is a part of the sum and difference device, this paper introduces the
design principle and the main performance parameters of the coupler, finally, the
structure of the sum-difference network is introduced. Taking the design of the
ring coupler and the quadrature coupler under the center frequency of 35GHz as
an example, discusses design methods and steps of the coupler , simulation of
electromagnetic coupler model through the HFSS, and describes the component
characteristics by S-matrix.
