Title Design of GPS positioning and orientation system
Abstract
This article designs a GPS positioning and orientation system based on the single chip compute.It is simulated by Proteus ISIS and Keil,and displays the position information and speed information on the LCD screen.
This system employs ATMEL's AT89C51 as a core controller,communicates with GPS module in serial's port,and receives navigating data from GPS model in NMEA-0183 standard form,among which GPRMC is selected to acquire geological information and speed information.Finally the acquired geological information and speed information are displayed on the display terminal after a series of processing by programming in C language.
This system can receive GPS positioning information and time information , and can display longitude,latitude and speed.
