On the Reason of the Core Area of Northern Ethnic Minorities’ Moving to East in Ancient China
Abstract: After five generations, the core area of northern ethnic minorities in central plains is getting close to the east part. The northern nomads which threat the southern China also go eastwards. There are many reasons for this phenomenon. Not only the political, economic and military factors, but also historical and geographical factors such as differences in the natural environment, climate change and barren land,etc are important factors for the core area of northern ethnic minorities’ moving to east at that moment.

前言
五代十国之后，入主中原的北方少数民族的核心统治区越来越靠近中国的东部地区，同时威胁中国南方的其他北方游牧民族的活动区域也在渐渐向东推移。同时他们在历史时期的徙居范围也不是固定的，其核心统治区的变化范围总体上是呈现东移的趋势，这种迁移趋势是值得我们重新思考和探究的历史人地轨迹。
