The Grapes of Wrath is a classical documentary fiction which reflects the social issues in a certain period of American history。 This novel is on the ground of 1930s economic crisis of the great depression period, describing the plight of the impoverished Americans。 In order to survive, the poor farmers have to move to California to seek for a better life, although they are temporarily unable to see the morning light or hope for the future, they are still full of strong instinct for survival and bright anticipation for hope。
