中学生英语学习中的文化障碍分析(2)
The former studies by Zhang Xiangcheng and Jiang Jianmin have illustrated the impact of the concept of cultural barriers on English language learners (17-19). But all did not have the comprehensive explanation of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English learning. Therefore, the article enumerates the main performances of cultural barriers in middle school students’ English learning from these four aspects and analyzes the causes and impacts on English learning, and gives effective advices.
II. Cultural Barriers and the Causes of Cultural Barriers
2.1 Culture and Cultural Barriers
There are so many countries in the world and they represent different cultures. When people from different cultures communicate with each other, they will meet the cultural barriers at the same time because of different languages and thinking habits. The middle school students only learn English for several years, their experiences of English is deficient so their problems of cultural barriers are heavier. This chapter will discuss this question from culture and cultural barriers.
