In the interpretations of heroism, both China and America hit the mark that different cultures shape their own heroes according to their particular value systems。 Different cultures have various traditions, absolutely there are different definitions towards heroism。 And also, heroes behave differently influenced by those cultural differences。 Heroes that the two cultures shape in literary works are distinct, in spite of some similarities, for example, both Chinese and American heroes have endless courage, gracious mind and strong will in common。 In the following part of this thesis, the differences of manifestation of heroism in Chinese and American cultures will be mainly analyzed as the objects of this study。 Through the careful comparison of them, it is natural to find that the differences are caused by distinct cultural value systems and faiths。 

The thesis just aims at helping people understand the cultural differences between these two countries and promote the communication of film culture of China and the United States。 With the development of globalization, according to this essay, people are able to observe the heroism that Chinese and American masses pursue so that the cultural value differences between these two countries will be more understandable。 This study makes it easier for people to learn different cultures and does China and America the favor of cultural exchanges。
