Abstract：The Magic Mountain can be considered as an abstract picture of the eras. Many scholars in their own literature have talked about diseases and discussed the time, the technique, and the rhetoric. But only a few people,  even  so  far  few  writers  have  revealed  the  sanatorium  this  special  yard,  especially  the different meanings behind the two eras  — the first half of the 20th century and the first half of the 21st century. This is the purpose of this paper and its research direction. This paper studies from the perspective of people in the sanatorium who are actually under the environment of certain values and attitudes in different time. Here comes the question that whether there is a behavioral discrepancy between people who live in the era of the war and who stay in the peace. Actually, it can be discovered that people in the sanatorium in different eras will have corresponding changes in view of the symbolism. According to what I have found, there comes a conclusion that the special sanatorium as a certain symbol completely reflects that the country and the world which exist for people have also produced the same changes. “Sanatoriums” in different eras make up different kinds of people. In other words, “war” shapes evilness and “peace” brings hope.

魔山的另类风情对特殊疗养院的时代差异性分析 

摘要：《魔山》可以说是一本时代的精神画卷，前人对这本书也从某些特定角度进行了研究，其中的话题 涉及过疾病、时间、文学修辞手法等等，却只有少部分人揭示过疗养院这个特殊的存在，甚至到目前为 止，少之又少的作家揭示了疗养院这个小小院子背后的时代意义------二十世纪上半叶（战争年代）和 二十一世纪上半叶（和平年代）的思想差异之处。而这也正是笔者写下这篇论文的目的以及其研究方向。 本文将从人在不同时代所处的环境下所形成的一定的价值观和态度这一角度着手探究，比如当人身处在 战争时代环境下所展现的行为模式和人出生在和平时代所表现的特点之间是否存在着差异。而按照小说 中以疗养院所作的背景衬托，或者说是一种缩影，一种象征，便不难发现当人身处在不同时代的疗养院 中他的确会产生明显的变化差异，也就是说不同时代的疗养院塑造了不同的人群。而根据这一发现，我 们便可以得出疗养院作为当时特定时代的象征，充分反映了因人而存在的国家乃至世界都会随之产生相 应的变化，即战争时代塑造恶魔，而和平时代带来希望。
