1.3 Structure of the study
A systematic summary and analysis of translation of Chinese porcelain is a good way to regulate and promote the specification and unification of it. Considering of the feature of culture bearing, translators should combine it with concrete cultural situations in the process of translation.
This paper consists of five parts. The first part is the introduction, including the background of the research, the significance of the research and the structure of the paper. Then, the author will mainly reviews the literature of the Culture-specific Items, both of the domestic and foreign scholars' studies will be included. The third part is about the definition of the Skopos theory and Culture-specific Items, which are the theoretical basis of the paper. This part includes the concept of the Skopos theory and the necessity of using it to translate the CSIs, and the main translating strategy of the Skopos theory. Part 4 refers to the analysis of some typical examples selected from some famous museums, that is, some specific applications of Aixela’s strategy in the translation of Chinese porcelain in the museums. And trying to summarize some useful strategies. Part 5 is the conclusion, it will give a summary and those limitations of the paper.
