2.1 Current Situation of Teachers
The society has entered into the era of high-tech development of electronics, information and digital. The world economic tendency is globalization. China has joined the WTO, too. Its construction of socialist modernization is required for a lot sorts of technical staffs who have higher education and knowing foreign languages. They know the business, management and service personnel. Therefore, a person who has a wide vision said people live in twenty-first Century must have three passes. The first is the electronic computer certificate. The second is foreign language certificate. The third is the car driver’s license. These show that the people in the twenty-first Century must have these basic qualities and abilities. And knowing a foreign language is one of it. Thus, it is clear that English teaching is very important. And the quality of education not only cultivates the labor with modern knowledge, but also promotes students’ all-round development in middle school. The quality education is the inevitable trend of China’s modern education. It adapts to the requirements of the national condition of our country. It is also adjust to the domestic and international situation.
