Then this study will follow three aspects. Firstly, it is about the classification and the characteristics of the learning style, the definition and the concept of it. Secondly, it is mainly about the situation of junior middle school English teaching in China and discovers the problems of Learning style theory in junior middle students’ English learning: one is misunderstanding in family education and the other is misunderstanding in school education. Then teachers in the junior middle schools should carry out the most proper theory of learning style, in order to solve all problems about junior middle school English teaching. Finally it will study the application and measure of learning style theory in students’ English learning. And this paper will gather some information and materials through the library, Internet, and related books, journals and dissertations, etc. It organizes and analyzes the factors that influence learning style formation from the aspect of definition of learning styles, characteristics as well as types of view.
Under vigorous education reform, people pay more and more attention to the role of education and teacher who is the main undertaker for imparting knowledge, and they will be highly focusing their attention on education reform. Learning style is the real foundation for teaching, and teachers’ teaching style should match students’ learning style, so that they can achieve win-win in both teaching and learning.

II. An Overview of the Learning Style Theory

2.1 The Definitions of Learning Styles
 What is the learning style? For this problem, the researchers do not yet have a unified definition. The Scholar Thomas Belle (Bello 90), researches on learning styles of many research, There are almost as many definition of learning style. Generally speaking, learning style mainly have the following several kinds of definition.
2.1.1 A Set of Behavior
The American Association of secondary school principals, Keefee argues that learning style is about learning style on learners’ learning environment, the reaction showes a relatively stable behavior.
