Title Vector Control Simulation of Surface- mounted Permanent Magnet Machine Abstract Vector control and direct torque control are two control methods of PMSM main application. In order to verify the correctness of the two control modes in various parts of the output characteristics of the AC drive system design process, and provide the necessary design parameters for its design, the use of Matlab / Simulink toolbox to build a simulation model of the system will be the actual design of the system to provide adequate theoretical basis. In this paper, permanent magnet synchronous motor for the study will be applied to vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor control thought, vector control simulation model, the successful implementation of the change of speed real-time control to achieve the purpose of smooth running permanent magnet synchronous motor. The main content of this work done by the following first discusses the relationship between simulation and modeling. The simulation modeling is given followed by the five elements of classification. The structure and characteristics of PMSM were analyzed. The permanent magnet synchronous motors equations of motion in different coordinate systems to explore in depth the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control principle is studied.
