摘 要英语作为一门全球性语言,在日常生活和国际合作中的各个领域变得格外重要。另外中考英语的改革突出强调了阅读能力的重要性,国内外已有很多对如何提高中学生阅读理解能力的研究论文,对英语阅读教学有很好的借鉴作用。因此,本文通过从收集大量的教学案例,根据目前的阅读现状从两个方面分析影响阅读能力提高的障碍:教师的教和学生的学。在分析了各种原因之后,本文提出了培养中学生阅读理解能力的有效英语阅读教学策略,而且还探讨了图式理论,语篇分析理论和交互模式在中学英语阅读中的应用。83054

Abstract English as a global language becomes extraordinarily significant both in daily life and international cooperation of various fields。 Furthermore, in the wake of senior high school entrance examination reform, some research papers about teaching strategies used in English reading class in middle schools have been published at home and abroad。 Furthermore, teachers benefit a lot from these research papers。 Therefore, through the collection of a large number of teaching cases, this paper, according to the current situation of reading, analyzes the barriers of improving reading comprehension from two aspects: teachers’ teaching and students’ learning。 After analyzing all kinds of obstacles, this paper puts forward the effective strategies of English reading teaching, which can cultivate the reading comprehension ability of middle school students and mainly talks about schema theory, discourse analysis theory and interactive approach which are used in English reading。

On Cultivating Middle School Students’ English Reading Comprehension

I。 Introduction

    The New National English Curriculum Standards points out that one of the main tasks of the English curriculum for nine-year compulsory is to raise students’ awareness of the cultural differences, broaden their visions and further lay a good basis for their long-life learning。 Undoubtedly, English reading is generally acknowledged as one of the most significant parts of foreign language learning and the standards that measure the students’ English proficiency。 “For most students, by far reading is the most significant one of four basic skills in a second language, particularly in English as a second or foreign language” (Carrell 19)。 Therefore, the English curriculum should put emphasis on enhancing students’ abilities of picking up information, processing information, analyzing and solving problems on the basis of students’ cognitive characteristics。 This curriculum not only stresses the cultivation of basic English ability, at the same time, but also pays attention to students’ cognitive characteristics。论文网
