Paper through the analysis of su-style furniture decoration art and the study of modern furniture,modern furniture should be combined with traditional furniture and the excellent tradition culture,the decorative structures play a functional role in furniture,have innovative thinking,the two complement each to create the reflect the national characteristics of furniture, for people to love。In addition,only on the original art deco to discuss the research be combined with the actual cases,analysis of su-style furniture decoration art in the application of modern furniture,especially on the surface of furniture,structure,decoration and the use of modelling,finally,the previous studies,carries on the physical design,the feasibility of the paper is validated。

1。1 课题研究背景
明清时期，对家具因其主要生产地而有“苏作”、“广作”和“京作”之分[1]。随后又有“苏式”、“广式”和“京式”之称。位于江南地区的苏州是家具制作的核心地带，被世人广为流传，最佳推崇，由于明式家具是苏式家具的推演而来，苏式家具是明式家具的发源地，因此便有“苏州明式家具”的美称[2]。在江南人眼里，苏式家具浸润了人的心灵，使得灵魂得以升华。
