Architectural design specification of public museum in Dingzhou
Abstract：Museum buildings are one of the important public buildings in the city, often become a cultural symbol of a country or place. Therefore, the museum buildings should strive to have a distinct regional characteristics, its shape is the embodiment of one of the important features of the regional. Previous studies focused on the research of functions, such as exhibits displays, indoor lighting, flow lines, or emphasizing cultural identity or regionality of the museum, only a little or not comprehensive enough discussion on the building's exterior shape. Therefore, starting from the perspective of the relationship between image and form, focusing on shaping the external morphology of the museum building itself is very important. And this topic choice is to investigate how the museums design from the beautiful buildings into a city residents to shape the future of our ideal place.

1 项目概况
1.1 工程概况
项目位于定州市中山中路，基地北至中山中路、西侧为定州塔广场。地块用地16400平方，地势基本平整。
本项目性质为镇区公共服务配套设施，拟建设一幢总建筑面积约6400平方米的博物馆。其中地上面积5300平方米，地下面积1100平方米。
1.2 基地研究以及设计核心
对基地现有条件进行分析后得出：
（1） 整个基地只有北面与城市道路相连接，作为基地主要出入口的沿街立面，在满足设计要求的前提下更要强调出入口的设计感和建筑的标志性。
（2）基地周围多数为多层住宅和公共服务机构，并无明显高层建筑，因此建筑高度的限定需要考量。
（3）西侧的定州塔是标志性建筑，需要寻找一些与塔的呼应已经城市整体肌理的关系。
2 设计理念
博物馆建筑设计规模并不大，为了加强公众参与这一理念，因此以“融合”方式使建筑形态与周边环境在视觉认知上形成统一的整体。具体体现在建筑高度的选择上，基地周边并无大型高层建筑，因此博物馆整体高度被限定在24米以下。由于博物馆建筑的独特性，要求其在整个环境中能够突显自我，因此建筑形态的选择应该与周边建筑有差异性，并且具有可识别性。而作为城市景观的关键节点，建筑形体应与自然环境“共生”，因此庭院也是建筑设计中不可或缺的一部分。
