Discussion on Design of Roof Garden
With the development of city construction towards multilayer, high-rise, high density in the direction of city, Roof garden can improve the function of city ecological environment, beautify the environment, heat insulation, change the city ecological environment quality, garden city municipal construction, properly solve the gardening art of roof and the roof, open up the green space, in the vertical city greening to make up for the lack of green area, is an important part in improving the city's ecological environment landscape technology. 一．屋顶花园的历史与发展
屋顶花园并不是现代建筑发展的产物，早在公元前2000年左右，在古代幼发拉底河下游地区（即现在的伊拉克）的古代苏美尔人最古老的名城之一—乌尔城，曾建造了雄伟的亚述古庙塔，或称“大庙塔”，此塔被后人称为屋顶花园的发源地。20年代初，英国著名考古学家伦德.伍利爵士，发现该塔三层台面上有种植过大树的痕迹，这些金字塔式的人工山是古代两河流域美索不达米亚城市的典型特征。亚述古庙塔主要是一个大型的宗教建筑，其次才是用于美化的“花园”，它包括层层叠进并种植有植物的花台、台阶和顶部的一些庙宇。然而后来这些古代文明的遗产被蒙古骑兵彻底摧毁了。
真正的屋顶花园是在亚述古庙塔以后1500余年才发现的著名的巴比伦"空中花园"，它之所以被世人列为"古代世界七大奇迹"之一，其意义决非仅在于造园艺术上的成就，而是古代文明的佳作。巴比伦"空中花园"是于公元前604-562年，新巴比伦国王尼布加尼撒二世娶了波斯国一位美丽的公主，名叫赛米拉米斯因他的妻子赛米拉米斯出生于伊朗，习惯于山林生活，因此公主日夜思念故国山水，郁郁寡欢。国王为了取悦于她，下令在平原地带建造巴比伦"空中花园" 。
