Title The Design and Development of the Train Timetable Editor Module
Abstract
Urban transport problems are becoming more and more serious. The urban rail
transit has many advantages which include the huge freight volume, safety,
comfort and energy saving and environmental protection. The development
of the urban rail transit has been an effective measure to resolve urban
transport problems. Efficient and safe traffic organization is based on
train timetable. At present, we primarily use computers to edit a train
timetable. The essay mainly completes the following researches: it
analyses the composition of train timetable; it introduces the cyclical
characteristic of train operation and studies the methods of applying the
cyclical characteristic to creating a train timetable; The essay uses UML
to model the demand of the train timetable editor module and states the
main functions and the design ideas of the train timetable editor module;
it analyses a simple example of editing a train timetable, and uses C++
to programme. Finally, the essay completes the diploma project of the
design and development of the train timetable editor module.
