Title Design and Realization of Intelligent Vehicle for the Ninth Freescale Cup —— Hardware Design of the Visual Guidance Guidance Intelligent Vehicle Control System based on 32-bit MCU
Abstract
This passage is based on the ninth Freescale Cup National University intelligent car contest. According to the contest rules, the hardware design of intelligent vehicle control system based on visual guidance has been proposed, and therefore the mechanical structure has been adjusted in order to make intelligent vehicle walk upright on the black and white path. The intelligent car utilizes the control core chip named MK60DN512ZVLQ10 which is produced by Freescale. After a specific analysis of the hardware, the whole hardware designing process was pided into several modules which include MCU module, power management module, visual sensor module, motor drive module, the speed detection module, SD card and bluetooth communication module. Based on the study about mechanical structure of vehicle, some proper adjustments were completed to ensure the performance and reliability of the car, and after that,the hardware circuit and PCB board were designed. Finally,the functional modules are tested as well as the whole system. The result shows that the hardware system has terrific performance and meets the design requirements.
