Design of Electric Bicycle Controller
Abstract: This paper points at the disadvantages of electric bicycle controller of complicated structure, low reliability, difficult maintenance, hard to upgrade and expand currently. This design puts forward a project based on AT89S52 single chip microcomputer as the main control chip of Brushless DC motor control. Speed is calculated by the signal acquisition hall sensor, then MCU realize speed closed-loop control by the way of PWM, at the same time with sampling the motor phase current to complete current closed-loop control; double closed loop control system of "speed and current". According to the energy feedback braking principle realize flexible electronic brake by using the characteristic of electronic commutation of brushless system. Combined with the programming algorithm efficient simplifies the system structure, reduces the system cost, enhances the system performance, and enhance the ride comfort, which can meet the requirements of different application occasions.
