Title Low-cycle fatigue behavior of micro grained AZ31 magnesium alloy
Abstract
Currently, properties of cast magnesium alloys through equal-channel-angular pressing (ECAP) have been widely studied, but studies focusing on low-cycle fatigue-property are rare. In this paper, the change of the low cycle fatigue properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy after ECAP will be mainly studied. By ECAP to AZ31 magnesium alloy, samples will be obtained. Afterwards, fatigue experiment will be conducted under the control of strain. Meanwhile, observation of the influence on fatigue-property after ECAP will be made.
Experimental results indicates that: After ECAP: ① Grain size of AZ31 magnesium alloy has been refined, static mechanical properties have been reduced. ② Plastic property of AZ31 magnesium alloy has been enhanced. ③ Low-cycle fatigue-property of AZ31 magnesium alloy has been advanced.
