摘 要:本论文在阐述网络发展的现状和趋势的基础上,依据实际仿真例子,重点分析了RIP(Routing Information Protocol)路由器协议的实现机制和性能特点。重点对于RIP协议的定义,消息格式,运行流程等方面进行了分析。根据需要,通过OPNET软件,设计创建了一个小型的由路由器构成的网络,并设置一系列的RIP参数,配置相应的IP地址,选取了网络延迟以及链路故障进行仿真。最后通过查看IP地址来了解数据包是如何通过网络的,得出RIP协议适合网络规模较小、拓扑结构比较简单、性能要求不严格的网络环境。6923

RIP Router Protocol Research and Simulation Based on OPNET
Abstract: Based on the description of the status and trends of the development of the network, this paper analyzes the implementation and performance of the RIP protocol on the basis of actual examples. This paper focuses on the RIP protocol's definition, format of data and its operation process. By using the OPNET software, this paper design to create a small network which consist of many Routers. It sets the RIP parameters and the allocation of the IP address, and selects the parameters of the network delay and link failure. Finally, we can understand how data packets transport through the network by viewing the IP address. Then we can draw the conclusion that the RIP protocol adapts to the network whose scale is small and structure is simple and performance is relatively weak.
