The Cultivation Strategy of Students’ Cross-cultural Communication Competence in International Chinese Education
Abstract: The primary goal of the cultivation of students’ cross-cultural communication competence in International Chinese Education class is to assist them to maintain an appropriate attitude towards cultural differences, overcome the cultural obstacles and relieve cultural shocks. Accordingly, triggering students’ interests of Chinese culture and language, as well as promoting their Chinese proficiency and the ability of cross-cultural communication. So this paper centers on the cross-cultural communication, introduces the relevant concepts, and proposes the strategies of cultivating students’ cross-cultural communication competence of International Chinese Education, through the investigation of the barrier of cross-cultural communication and the analysis of cross-cultural verbal communication and non-verbal communication.

一、引言

1.问题的提出
跨文化交际与普通的交际有很大区别，在跨文化交际交际过程中，由于交际双方文化背景的差异，以及互相的不理解和文化冲突，往往造成交际障碍，继而导致交际失败。
下面就举一个日常生活中跨文化交际的例子：德国留学生Chris经常去在中国教书，经常去一菜摊买菜，因为这家摊子的蔬菜品种多，摊主服务态度好。这天他挑好了青椒和西芹，正犹豫再买点什么，听到摊主又招呼起了其他的客人，他便等了一会儿。可是轮到他时，摊主还是一边招呼新来的客人，一边帮他称菜。Chris不满意地说：“是我先来的，你应该先服务我。” 摊主笑着回答：“我看你好久没说话，就还以为你想再挑点什么呢！” Chris在回家的路上一直在想，就是因为自己是外国人，才会受到“区别对待”。
