The Predicament and Outlet of Newspaper Transformation under the New Media Environment
Abstract：The continuous development of new media has given birth to a mature and perfect new media environment. A long history of traditional paper media -- newspapers, in the face of new media are eroding into the present situation of the audience and the advertising market . Transformation has become the important choice about its own survival and development. In the new media environment, newspapers are facing a lot of trouble in contents, foreign cooperation, talent and influence, the future will focus on in-depth reporting, newspaper net fusion, new talent and sales channels to find a new way. Finally, the success of the famous domestic news "The Southern Weekend" which has a series of specific measures to the modern newspaper industry must give the transformation of contemporary newspaper business a new lesson.

21世纪以来，随着全球网络技术的飞速发展，以互联网及其相关应用为支撑的新媒体也有了长足的进步。“一般而言，新媒体是指报刊、广播、电视等传统媒体之后新兴的传媒形态。” 但是，学界尚未对新媒体形成一个统一的概念。对报纸转型的分析离不开新媒体及其环境，下文主要从转型期新媒体环境、困境、出路以及成功范例四方面加以详细分析。
