2。1 Corpus Linguistics

Kennedy (2000) considered corpus linguistics can represent "real world" (corpus) text in samples。 Some people think it is a branch of linguistics that has its own independent theory system and operation methods。 However, in the eyes of others, corpus linguistics is merely a research approach that has greatly enriched the present research methods。 

Since the 1960s, Corpus linguistics has been developing for more than 50 years of history。 And now, Corpus linguistics is widely used in translation, language acquisition, discourse analysis, education etc。 Professor Gui (2009) has collected a corpus of more than 1 million words of English learner’s composition from middle school to college。 He also identified 62 kinds of common errors in the composition, including spelling errors, collocation errors, vocabulary and structure errors。 Chinese learner English corpus has made huge contribution and played a positive role in English learning。
