此论文会着重从合作原则和礼貌原则这两个方面分析“2017十大网络流行语”。因此,会对这两个理论进行充分的介绍。这十大网络流行语可能会违背合作原则中的四条准则:数量准则,质量准则,关联准则和方式准则。通过分析,作者发现违反合作原则中的准则是为了给出含意。此外,礼貌原则包含了得体准则,慷慨准则,赞誉准则,谦逊准则,一致准则,同情准则。十大流行语的使用大多数都遵循了这些准则。而在衡量是否礼貌的三个主要因素中,社会距离是关键因素。最后,论文综合分析了十大流行语并得出了几个结论:1)这些流行语主要源于新媒体,如电脑,手机和数字电视;2)贴近生活的交际用语更容易被普及;3)网络流行语的形式多样、灵活并且具有合作性;4)有关交流的流行语更容易受到青睐而涉及利益关系的词往往没有很强的接收性。

Since officially admitted as an Internet country in 1994, China has made a rapid development in the area of Internet which succeeds the traditional three giant medias—Newspapers, Television and Radio, becoming the fourth media. According to the research data issued by China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), by the end of June of 2017, China had 0.75 billion netizens, with 54.3% Internet penetration rate, keeping a steady increase compared with previous years.

Besides, with the widespread use of smartphones, social media like blog, wechat, QQ, texting, email etc. have become an integral part of people’s daily life. They communicate, share information, make comments on these media, which inevitably booms the Internet language. Moreover, according to the research of CNNIC in 2017, the most active netizens are those aged 10 to 39, with middle academic education and average incomes of 2001 to 3000 yuan or 3001 to 5000 yuan, which means most netizens lead a well-off life and receive basic education. Among the large quantity of netizens, students, company employees and freelance workers take the main occupation. They are creative, curious and sensitive in face of new information. Therefore, the unstrained environment and the urgent to express instant thoughts and anecdotes produce a lot of Internets buzzwords for communication as well as recreation. However, these words not only gain great popularity on the Internet, but also penetrate in people’s daily life, having a profound effect on society. Many authority institutions of China like National Center for Language Monitoring and Research, People’s Daily and Verbalism, etc. tent to release “The Top 10 Chinese Internet Buzzwords” once a year, which arises a wide disputation each time. Different walks of scholars are also attracted to study these popular Internet buzzwords and have made plenty of researches in different aspects.
