Abstract：Pride and Prejudice is one of the masterpieces of the famous British novelist Jane Austen. It is a classic novel that describes love and marriage. The work takes the clues of the protagonists Darcy and Elizabeth's love due to arrogance and prejudice, vividly portrays the marriage customs of British villages and towns in the late 18th century and early 19th century, revealing the economic ethics thought contained in the bourgeois marriage. 

This thesis will comprehensively analyze the five marriages in the novel and explain the principles of economic ethics contained in it. This paper is pided into five parts. The first part gives a brief introduction to the author's life and the summary of the novel’s story and the importance of the novel in the history of literature. The second part introduces the emergence and development of economic ethics, essential issues of research, and principles of economic ethics. The third part focuses on analyzing the five paragraphs of marriage described in the novel. The fourth part is to explore the economy and morality, justice and benefits embodied in marriage, and the economic ethics thought of exchanging ethics. The fifth part is the end of the thesis.

Nowadays, people’s concept of marriage has changed in China, and more emphasis has been placed on the material basis of marriage, rather than the simple combination of love, which has led to a heated discussion. The novel Pride and Prejudice precisely describes five different types of marriage. It is believed that by reading this novel and understanding the economic ethics thoughts it elaborates, people will be inspired and have a better understanding of marriage.

摘要：《傲慢与偏见》是英国著名小说家简·奥斯汀的代表作之一，是一部描写爱情与婚姻的经典小说。作品以男女主人公达西和伊丽莎白由于傲慢与偏见而产生的爱情为线索，形象生动地描绘出十八世纪末十九世纪初英国村镇的婚嫁风俗，向人们揭示了资产阶级婚姻所蕴含的“经济伦理”思想。

本文将会全面分析小说中的五段婚姻，解释其中所蕴含的经济伦理学原理。本论文一共分为五个部分。第一部分对作者生平与小说故事概要以及小说在文学史上的重要性做简要介绍。第二部分介绍经济伦理学的产生与发展、研究的基本问题以及经济伦理原则。第三部分重点分析小说所描述的五段婚姻。第四部分则是探究婚姻中体现出来的经济与道德、义与利以及交换伦理的经济伦理学思想。第五部分则是文章的结尾。

现如今，在中国人们对于婚姻的观念发生了改变，更加强调婚姻要有一定的物质基础，而不是简简单单的因爱而结合，由此而引起了人们热烈的讨论。而《傲慢与偏见》这部小说恰恰所描写的是五种不同的婚姻类型，相信通过阅读这本小说以及理解其所阐述的经济伦理思想，人们会有所启发，对婚姻有更好的理解。
