Abstract: The continuous deepening of the new curriculum reformation in China puts forward new requirements for teaching classrooms.Reforming exam-oriented education into quality education is the current direction of reformation, so the constructivist teaching model has emerged.The constructivism teaching model is applied in the junior high school English class, emphasizing the student's main class position to strengthen the communication and exchange between teachers and students, so that students can learn basic English knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and then improve the quality of classroom teaching.

  This paper holds a brand-new education concept:Four types of comparatively typical constructivist teaching models, such as scaffolding teaching, anchored teaching, random access to teaching, and cognitive apprenticeship, are applied to English listening teaching, oral teaching, reading teaching, and writing teaching,and do some tentative research.

建构主义理论在初中英语教学中的应用研究

摘 要:随着近年来中国新课程改革的不断深入,新课改对教学课堂提出了新的要求。把应试教育转变为素质教育是当前改革的主要方向,建构主义教学模式由此出现了。建构主义教学模式应用于初中英语课,强调学生主体地位,加强师生之间的交流,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中学习英语基础知识,进而提高课堂教学质量。

本文提出了一种全新的教学理念:试图将四种典型的建构主义教学模式,如脚手架教学,锚定教学,随机访问教学,认知学徒等,应用于英语听力教学,口语教学,阅读教学, 写作教学中,并做一系列尝试性的研究。

1.Introduction 

1.1 Background and motivations for the Research 

The middle school English course is an important part of the compulsory education stage. As the basic discipline of the basic education stage, it must first undertake the important task of improving the ideological and moral quality of the Chinese nation, the quality of science and culture and the quality of the body. With the development of the times, great changes have taken place in the connotation of English courses: from emphasizing the content of the subject to emphasizing the experience and experience of the learners. However, there are many problems in the current English teaching practice in middle schools in China, such as the prevalence of exam oriented education, the lack of teaching situations, the stale and decayed learning strategies, and the weakness of intercultural communicative competence and so on.  Therefore, it is an urgent task for us to cultivate English talents with innovative and practical abilities. In order to make some reference to solve the problems existing in the current middle school English teaching practice, this paper holds a new educational idea of constructivism teaching theory, intends to use these four typical kinds of constructivist teaching model such as the scaffolding instruction, anchored instruction and random access instruction and cognitive apprenticeship, applied to the teaching of English listening, oral English teaching, typical teaching and writing teaching of different class, and do some tentative research.
