Through the study of displaying principles, supermarket runners are more likely to increase their turnover and get more competitive by attracting more consumers.
1.2 Thesis Structure
The thesis consists of five chapters.
Chapter One gives an introduction to the purpose of the thesis and the significance of this study.
Chapter Two is literature review, which introduces the notion of supermarket, the basic display principles adopted by supermarkets, the theory of consumer behavior and analysing the essence of Consumer Behavior Theory, providing theory foundation for real data analysis and achievements from Auchan in Chapter Four.
Chapter Three states relevant elements of displaying principles, mainly discusses the choice of goods, the types of exhibiting area, the types of displaying stands , which provides detailed analysis for the research in Chapter Four.
