3. Aesthetic Representation in The Kite Runner

3.1 Beauty of Sound
Unlike poetry, idioms and verse, novels do not bear many remarkable characteristics in the phonetic level. However, writers can add more literary appeal to novels through adopting some devices in the phonetic level so that translators do the job to the target version. The Chinese translator of The Kite Runner bears that in mind and he deals with the process of translation carefully and skillfully in order to save aesthetic value points in the original text.
