摘 要任务型教学法起源于20世纪80年代,是外语教学法研究者和第二语言习得研究者在大量研究和实践的基础上提出来的一种新型教学模式。基于任务型教学法的理论基础和初中英语口语教学的现状,本文以市第二十二中学七年级两个班的学生为研究对象,通过调查分析法与实验分析法进行调查研究,笔者发现任务型教学法能真正有效地提高中学生的口语能力,从而为任务型教学法在更大范围内的英语口语教学实践提供一定的理论依据。37068

 Abstract TBLT (TBLT), originated in the 1980s, is a kind of new teaching approach promoted by foreign language methodologists and the second language acquisition researchers on the basis of a great deal of studies and practice. Basing on the theory of TBLT and the status quo of oral English teaching in junior high school, this paper takes two classes in Grade 7 of Zhoukou No.22 Junior High School as research subjects. Through the research on the questionnaire survey and applying the experimental research method, the author found that TBLT is more efficient in improving students’ oral English ability in junior high school. This study will provide a theoretical basis for a wider application of TBLT to oral English teaching.

I. Introduction

    With the rapid development of world economy, China is gradually becoming the global magnetic field. In the field of foreign trade, culture, and education, there are more and more communications and cooperations between China and other countries. Therefore, it proposes higher requirements for the learners’ oral English competence. However, under the pressure of examination, the English teaching in China usually focuses on reading, writing and some aspects that are closely related to marks in examination, while oral English teaching is always ignored. Even in some classes where oral English teaching is implemented, the teaching activities and teaching skills are boring and meaningless, so that students are inactive and unwilling to speak English in class. All of these just prove that the teaching methods and learning methods have some unreasonable factors. In order to improve the present oral English teaching, this paper applies TBLT (TBLT) to the oral English in a junior middle school, No.22 Junior Middle School, in ZhouKou, and verifies that TBLT is more efficient in improving students’ oral English ability.
