The purpose of research papers are as follows: First, teachers can understand the current situation of primary school classroom teaching evaluation, and make clear that  what is teaching evaluation, whether the teaching evaluation can focus on the all-round development of students or not, what method do the teachers make use of, whether the methods are feasible or not. Second, during the process, teachers can find problems from the present situation of English classroom teaching in primary school. Besides, they can make a further research on the existing problems and reasons of the classroom teaching evaluation. Third, feasible suggestions and measures should be taken to promote the students interest in learning English. On one hand, it can help change their attitude of learning English and learning style. On the other hand, it can promote the all-round development of the students.
Scientific teaching evaluation is the guarantee of realizing classroom teaching target. It not only can promote students to change the way of learning, make students form a positive learning attitude, but also form a good emotional values, promote the comprehensive development of students. For teachers, scientific and rational teaching evaluation can provide teachers with feedback information in time. It promotes the transition of the teachers’ teaching methods, improves teaching practice and promotes common development between teachers and students. As one of the important tool of communication, English is widely used in each field. English teaching evaluation has brought into focus. So the importance of the English classroom teaching evaluation in primary school will be presented in this paper.

II. Teaching Evaluation

2.1 Definition of Teaching Evaluation
    Teaching evaluation, is a kind of activity, which has double main bodies. Both the subject and the object have a distinct subjectivity. Some scholars think that classroom teaching evaluation is to grasp the changes of the students objectively through teaching activities so that the teachers can get the maximum education effect (Li 374). In addition, other scholars think that the classroom teaching evaluation is a process, which includes collecting information, integrating information and analysis of the information (Luo 24). It is also a process to understand the students’ skills level and development potential. By collecting students’ information of daily learning and information of teacher’s teaching and classroom learning, teachers can understand each student’s learning and make corresponding decision. Through this way, it can improve the classroom efficiency.
    To sum up, the researchers considered classroom teaching evaluation and English teaching should put together. The English classroom teaching evaluation is a process of English teaching, and through it teachers can collect information about all aspects of students’ study. Teachers can make value judgment on the basis of the collected information. During this process, teachers should timely adjust their teaching in order to improve teaching efficiency and promote the common development between teachers and students.
2.2 Classification of Teaching Evaluation
    What are evaluation and assessment for? Evaluation is often for authorities who would want to know whether the money they spent or the policy change has had good results. Assessment is for teachers and learners, for them to not only know how well they have done but also where they have done well and where they need more efforts. Assessment is often pided into summative assessment and formative assessment. Summative assessment is mainly based on the testing. It is mostly done at the end of a learning period or the end of a school year. Formative assessment is based on the information collected in the classroom during the teaching process for the purpose of improving teaching and learning, therefore, it is sometimes termed as classroom assessment as well (Black 25). Putting summative assessment and formative assessment together, we will be able to form a sound basis for checking teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.
