从《虎妈猫爸》和《成长的烦恼》浅析中美家庭教育的差异
The study shows that Chinese parents have higher expectation and goals for their children. They put much pressure on their children and they are looking forward to cultivating their children to be the talent. On the content of family education, Chinese parents confirmedly believe that intellectual education is the priority for all. At the same time, in daily life, parents are willing to handle everything for their children instead of doing things on their own. On the contrary, American parents give children enough freedom to enable them to do everything they like. Unlike Chinese parents, what American parents pursue is children’s comprehensive development. They attach much importance to the cultivation of children’s independence in life. Therefore, when children grow up, they can totally adapt to every aspect of the society.
By comparing the differences of family education between the two countries, the deficiencies in Chinese family education can be offset. For the American style of family education, Chinese parents might learn essence from it, which might make a great difference to children’s growth in the near future.

摘要家庭是社会中数以万计的细胞中的一部分，是人生的第一所学校。渐渐地，随着素质教育的提倡，对许多父母来说，家庭教育已经变成了最为关注的问题。不可否认，家庭教育在孩子的成长中扮演者一个不可或缺的角色并对他们的人格和个性产生着重要的影响。《虎妈猫爸》和《成长的烦恼》这两部电视剧被作为研究的对象来分析中美家庭教育的差异。通过对比，这些差异可以概括为目的，方法，内容，教育观念上的差异。
研究表明中国父母对他们的孩子抱有过高的期望和目标。他们给孩子施加了太多的压力并且希望能够把他们的孩子培养成才。在家庭教育的内容上，他们坚定地认为智教育是一件重中之重的事情。同时，在日常生活上，父母也愿意为孩子包办一切事物。相反。美国的父母给予了他们的孩子足够的自由去让他们做一切他们喜欢的事情。与中国父母不同的是，美国父母追求的是孩子的全面发展。他们非常重视孩子在生活上独立性的培养。因此，当孩子长大之后，也就能够完全的适应社会里的方方面面。
通过对比这两个国家家庭教育上的差异。中国家庭教育上的不足之处也因此能够得到弥补。对于这种美国式的家庭教育，中国的父母不妨从中取其精华。相信这些所学到的东西，在不久的将来将对孩子的成长产生巨大的影响。
