1. Introduction

1.1 Background of the study

    In the era of globalization, with the concept of cooperation being valued, cooperative learning, known as “the instructional use of small groups in which students work together to maximize their own and others’ learning”Johnson(1999), has gained comprehensive attention across the world.  A number of studies have indicated that when learning is cooperative, students is likely to exhibit stronger interaction. Meanwhile, students’ interest for the subject, learning motivation, ability to solve problem increase in cooperative learning situation.Tsui-Er Lee(2014)  It is commonly agreed that cooperative learning is one of the world’s most successful stories in the history of education innovation in academic field.
