摘要一定的词汇量是顺利进行听、说、读、写、译等语言活动的基础。近几年来，词汇学习策略成为研究的一大热点。许多相关调查研究也随之在国内外展开。本文主要采用调查问卷的方法,对大学生使用词汇学习策略情况进行调查，并对其调查结果进行了分析和总结。从中得出合理的使用英语词汇学习策略是学好词汇的关键。希望本文将有助于大学生对词汇学习策略有一个更清晰的认识和把握。48856

Abstract  A large vocabulary volume is a basis of smooth listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation and other activities related to language. Vocabulary learning strategy has been a hot issue for studying in recent years. A lot of researches have been done both domestically and internationally. This paper will adopt questionnaire to analyze vocabulary learning strategies. A survey was conducted and the data was collected and analyzed. According to the survey, it has been noticed that it is the key to learn English vocabulary well by adopting proper vocabulary learning strategies.   Hopefully this paper will be beneficial to the understanding and mastery of vocabulary learning strategies of college students.

 I. Introduction   

    English is the most important language in the world today, which is the official language in many countries and most mails are written in English. Many high-tech materials available internationally are written in English. English, as the main language, greatly facilitates exchanging not only cultures, but also the world economy and technology. In a word, as for the international politics, military, economy, technology and culture, English is an important communication tool. Vocabulary is the basic unit of a language, and sentences are made of words by following the grammar rules. Every foreign language learner knows the fact that the most time to spend in learning a foreign language is to master vocabulary. Without English vocabulary learning, there is no English learning. The information that the vocabulary has contained is almost as the same as the amount of information that the language has contained. Vocabulary is essential for students to understand and learn a language. With enough vocabulary, even if we know little about a language, there is great possibility for us to understand that language partly. Some people in our country failed to learn English well because they could not learn vocabulary in a highly efficient way due to the lack of environment of learning English. The communicative ability will also be as a river. Without water, it is no benefit for English teaching at all. Without grammar, we cannot express well. Without words, we just cannot express what it is. If there isn’t large vocabulary and efficient vocabulary learning strategies, learning English will be like growing trees without supplying a source of water.
