Therefore, through comparative analysis of the teaching models between the U. S. and China, we can improve Chinese teaching methods of primary English and raise the efficiency of English class. Besides, it can not only achieve the goal of common development, but provide some experiences for primary English teachers and give us some inspirations for the reform and development of Chinese primary English teaching.

    The author pides the paper into five parts. The first part is about the current situation of primary English teaching and the significance of this expedition. The second part is about the cultural differences between the U. S. and China, and the third part mainly analyzes the different teaching models between the U. S. and China, which includes the ideas of primary teaching, teachers, teaching materials, and curriculum. The fourth part provides some suggestions for primary English teaching model, and the last part, it will is conclusion.
