(1) Zoolatry
The origin of dragon has many versions. One of them says that dragon came from real animals like snake, crocodile, lizard and so on. These animals have characteristics like being mysterious, poisonous and dangerous. In the ancient times, most people are farming in the fields. These animals gave them an awesome impression. Then people regarded these animals as pine animals portraying them with their imagination. Then the early Chinese dragon appeared. This origin is much similar to the “dragon” in west countries, which means a bad, evil and dangerous. That maybe why the well-known translation version translate Chinese “dragon” into dragon.
