With the constant progress and development of social economy, Child education in china has been a highly focus of society during the impact of early childhood education and children education philosophy abroad。 Among them, the concern about the education is the most important part。 Child is an independent group。 They have special feelings and unique perspective in the point of view to the world。 In this paper, the study of child's personality refers to the child’s relative stability and unique mental behavior pattern of children under the interaction of innate and acquired factors。 Children in primary schools have formed a series of characteristics: they are lively, full of curiosity, for all are full of fantasy, expect to gain recognition, unlimited creativity etc。 Therefore, we should understand their psychological characteristics and choose the appropriate teaching methods。 We should try our best to make loose, democratic and harmonious learning atmosphere in English class。 I think it is an important way to improve English teaching in primary school。 These unique characteristics will become a great impetus for children to learn English if they are fully utilized and play in the English classroom。 Then we can improve the primary school English teaching effectively。
