1 Introduction

Liu Cixin is one of the representative writers of the Chinese science fiction who was born on 23 June 1963, in Yangquan Shanxi。 His most famous work The Three Body Problem won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Novel。 He is the first Asian writer to win “Best Novel”。 And it reflects that Chinese science fiction goes out of the country, to the world。文献综述

The Three Body Problem trilogy consists of The Three Body Problem, The Dark Forest and Death’s End。 The whole story goes back to the Cultural Revolution。 One person broadcast human’s presence into space, and the three body civilization which was struggling in the tough nature received the message。 Then they prevented humanity’s advance in technology and headed for the earth。 To deal with the alien invasion, earthmen developed the wallfacer project。 During this period, dark forest law has been discovered。 It helped to maintain a short period of peace but finally it led to the destruction。

“The evil human nature is the mother of self-destruction” (Xu, 2015:43)。 Cheng must choose between logical ruthlessness and simple human compassion, with the fate of humanity at stake。 “This utterly absorbing book shows little interest in linear narrative or conventional character interactions。 Instead, the author offers dilemmas moral, philosophical, and political perspectives—a spectacular glimpse of three dimensions seen from a four-dimensional viewpoint; a dying universe shattered by billions of years of warfare; and persuasive ideas whose dismal repercussions extend beyond hope and despair into, inescapably, real-world significance”(Net。2)。 The Three Body Problem trilogy reflects the humans’ own behaviors。 As the saying goes, everything happens for a reason。 A group of people’s bad behavior hurt some people, so then they lose the confidence in human beings and they hope to find another kind of power to save people or destroy humans。 And under this situation, disagreements among them were made and they had to make totally different efforts to complete different target。 And then these led to fights and wars and even a devastating consequence。 The whole story happened on the universe, and humans are not the only intelligent life。 And under the complex cosmic environment, humans may be conquered by aliens。 The high technology may not bring high moral standard accordingly。 Generally, the novel expresses the humanistic ideology and dig into the humans’ spirit, nature and values。

The evil human nature was thoroughly exposed in the novel。 Except for a very few heroes and heroines, most people are blind, selfish, negative and crafty。 The author put much of his energy into describing variety of characters, and these roles’ actions and thoughts advanced the development of the plots and affected the fate of humans。 So the study of the evil human nature is necessary。 The reasons of evil human nature and the consequences may bring to people’s self-reflection of their own behaviors。来`自+优-尔^论:文,网www.chuibin.com +QQ752018766-

The pision of good and evil is not very clear。 British philosopher Moore drew an important conclusion in his work Principia Ethica: “good denotes some simple non-natural, (i。e。 abstract in the platonic sense) property of which we are intuitively aware。 In other words, good is simple and cannot be defined” (1903:43)。 However, after 30 years, he doubted it and believed good and evil can be defined。 In the definition of good, some people think the behavior which has proved beneficial to most people in the wide range of the time was regarded good。
