3.3 Miranda Hobbes
Miranda is a smart, self-assured and successful lawyer who goes through a number of relationships and casual sexual acquaintances throughout the series. At times, her unsuccessful quest for love lets her almost cynical. Her longest relationship is with Steve, a down-to-earth bar owner, who finally have a child with her, though they are not a couple at that point. Miranda struggles with life as a tough single mom and she loves to hang out with her girl friends at leisure time. Miranda is the wisecracking member of the group who always has a funny or sarcastic remark up her sleeve.
