Elderly marriage research and social work intervention —— For example with Qilongju community
Abstract: Elderly marriage is a trend and a major social problem, not only conducive to family harmony and health of the elderly, but also conducive to creating a harmonious society. However, elderly marriage problems also exist some new features, issues and multifaceted resistance. Which really deserves our attention and efforts to solve these problems. Combined with the characteristics of older people, because of the less attention from social, family, and their children, they produce psychological loneliness easily and it also is the impact of their own married life. Elderly marriage is not just elderly family problems, but also social ones. Currently, elderly marriage has become a hot point in the perspective of social work. This research is mainly about the problems existing in elderly marriage. Through the collection an classifying of documents, community survey, also the process an evaluation of intervention of social work, making comments on how to deal with elderly marriage problems to ensure the harmony in the later life.
