The study of campus’ solid waste recycling situation in the normal university
Abstract Normal University is located in the north of Xuzhou and also is one of the key universities in province. There’re about 25 thousand people currently in school. The accumulation of life and teaching process is bound to produce more waste on campus; it has a significant impact on the campus and the surrounding environment. In this paper, we aim at the source and classification of waste in the campus of Normal University to study. Based on this, systematically analyze the status of waste recycling in Normal University. In our life, we should distinguish the waste according to the existing level of technical, to provide reference for the future university campus waste treatment. Factually, types and quantity of campus waste is increasing day by day. The traditional recycling or disposal method is no longer able to dispose of waste properly. Therefore, it is urgent to establish a new recycling method to help us improve the utilization of resources and reduce the environmental pollutions on campus.

引言 随着我国经济的高速发展，城市生活垃圾排放量逐年增加。根据资料显示，中国2004年垃圾产生量达到2.04亿多吨，占世界垃圾总量的1/4以上，且每年以8%-10%的速度增加，全国有200多个城市被垃圾包围。这些生活废弃物中的重金属以及腐败过程中产生的细菌、微生物会严重污染城市水源，因此如何正确处理生活废弃物成为我国急需解决的问题。
日美等发达国家目前主要是依靠焚烧的方式处理生活垃圾，这种方法一是因为生活废弃物中可燃物含量高，产热大，二是因为这些国家经济发达有能力建立合格的焚烧厂，技术手段也比较成熟。而我国垃圾处理工作起步较晚，技术与设备都不够完善，主要还是采取填埋的方式处理，其引起的环境污染、资源浪费越来越引起人们的重视，虽然近些年我国也加大了环保方面的投入，鼓励开发新技术，但是由于起步晚，经济实力、人才素质、管理模式落后等因素，目前我国城市垃圾中最常用的还是填埋约占78%，其次是堆肥和焚烧，分别占3%和19%。
