Title The investigation and research of the demands of rural elderly welfare in the transition period of society
Abstract
The economic system, population structure and the interpersonal
relationship in vast Chinese country has changed a lot with the coming of
social transition period. In the past, the rural elderly pension depended
on micro social welfare system formed by traditionally rural mutual aid.
But as a result of market economy permeate, rural labor force emigration,
and the outside information effect brought by the popularity of the network
the traditional rural relations have tended to be utilitarian tendency.
In this background, this kind of micro welfare system functions weakened.
The social welfare demands of rural elderly as vulnerable groups in society
changes. In this paper, we did research in the hometown of the author, and
proposed some problems in the implement of rural elderly pension policy.
And we got a comment that the level of rural elderly pension in our country
is still low, the demands appear persify and the elderly mental health
and emotional loneliness problem is increasingly outstanding. We point out
that we should strengthen rural economic development, establish moderate
Pratt and Whitney-type elderly welfare mode in order to improve level of
rural elderly social welfare level in our country. To help further improve
the rural elderly social welfare level, enhance the quality of life of the
elderly, the construction of a harmonious society of the aged.
