摘要改革开放以来，随着我国城乡二元壁垒的松动，农民不断走出农村，到城市就业，农民工群体规模不断的扩大。农民工既不同于传统农民，也不同于城镇居

民，成了社会的边缘人物，但是他们已成为产业工人的重要组成部分，起着至关重要的作用，为我国经济做出了巨大的贡献。但由于种种原因，农民工没有被城市所接纳，没有享受公平的待遇，没有得到合法的社会保障，社会矛盾越来越多，本文试图在总结学术界对农民工社会保障问题研究成果的基础上，选取连云港市农民工作为研究对象，对连云港市农民工的社会保障情况有一个清楚的认识，发现其中存在的问题，通过对此问题的研究，可以深入了解农民工在基本养老和基本医疗、失业、工伤、生育方面的保障情况以及社会福利和社会救助方面情况，提出解决农民工社会保障中存在的问题的对策，从而解决农民工的社会保障问题。81153
