Study on rapid spectrophotometric method of hexavalent chromium in the pure water
Abstract: In this paper, studied by spectrophotometry diphenyl two hydrazine color reaction, while adding sulfuric acid to adjust the acidity, and to determine the optimal test conditions presented a high sensitivity, simple and fast determination of trace hexavalent chromium the spectrophotometric method. The results showed that: adding chromogenic agent is used in an amount of 2.5ml, add 2.5 ml of sulfuric acid to adjust the acidity, the maximum absorption wavelength at 540nm, the preferred chromogenic time 10min. The regression equation is: Y = 1.19125X +0.09892, correlation coefficient r = 0.999. This method is used for determination of trace chromium (VI) in environmental water samples, and get good results.
