Synthesis of Titania Nanotubes by Hydrothermal Method and Their Performance Research
Abstract:Titania nanotubes,a new type of nanomaterials, have attracted much attention due to their excellent properties of photo-electricity,catalysis,gas sensitivity.In this paper,the titania nanotubes were synthesized by the hydrothermal method and were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR),transmission electron microscopy (TEM).Meanwhile,the antibacterial property of titania nanotubes was investigated by the qualitative colony counting method.The results suggested that titania nanotubes prepared by this method had a good anti-bacterial property.At the same time,the anti-bacterial mechanism of titania nanotubes was systematically investigated.Finally,the development of titania photocatalytic materials was prospected.
