The Comparative Studying on Fan Yi and Qiqiao Cao in Thunderstorm and The Golden Lock
Abstract：Fan Yi and Qiqiao Cao are written by Cao Yu and Zhang Ailing respectively,and both characters embody a tragic fate.Fan Yi is the wife of Puyuan Zhou,who is an feudal patriarchal image. Fan Yi is born rich enough to live comfortably, but she lacks the true love.As for, Qiqiao Cao is born low,and later is sold to the wife of a paralyzed young master in the jiang family by her brother.Torture,This paper mainly bases its analysis on the unfortunate fates of Yi Fan and Qiqiao Cao,exploring their similarities and differences in terms of the loss of love, marriage, dignity within the shackles from respective families as well as their shared option of revenge. Furthermore, this paper explores the differences in their backgrounds, thinkings, their primary pursuit and the way of revenge.By comparison, it is clear to see that the history of modern Chinese literature has elevated from the love-oriented social level,which is featured by the shaping of women images and the discussion of their plight of survival to a deeper level,which is characterized by the description of human nature and inner desires.

《雷雨》中的蘩漪与《金锁记》中的曹七巧都是现代文学史上刻画的比较成功、出色的女性人物。繁漪在周家一系列的经历，导致了她对于爱情有着强烈的渴望，她一生衣食无忧，唯缺爱情。因此，在惨遭周萍抛弃后走上了复仇的道路。她对周冲是有爱的，但对周萍却更有情。虽然在复仇过程中暂时抛弃了自己的母性，但绝不能就此否认她的母爱。曹七巧从小束缚较少，缺乏知识，因此原始的野性较蘩漪保留的要多,身份又与姜家极不对称，她在姜家饱受折磨，失去了爱情、亲情和尊严。她出身贫困，一心希望能够改善生活,她的贫困出身决定了她对金钱的强烈渴望,她最终戴上了黄金的枷，并用沉重的枷角劈杀了几个最亲近的人。本文深入到曹七巧和繁漪两个形象的人性与欲望的层面，主要从两者各自形象的特点、两者形象的相同之处与不同之处及在现代文学史上的地位这四个方面着手，探讨两者的命运、困境及人性的本质，同时可使我们明确地看到中国现代文学对于女性困境的探讨究竟走了多远。
一、蘩漪与曹七巧的形象特点
上世纪三四十年代，曹禺所写的话剧《雷雨》与张爱玲所著的小说《金锁记》无疑是现代文学中最有影响力的作品之一。
